Plan to go to Dal Matto but it close on the day I want to go. So I neeed a recommendation for casual Italian places in Tokyo, preferably with great pasta
how about no frill French restaurants? New, classic, or even home cooking style are fine, but preferably the master chef still cooks himself or herself. Thanks!
@Justeat unfortunately don’t have much exp with the casual places - only been to some of the more formal places. I liked Quintessence & Esquisse more than others (Equateur, Effervescence, etc), not none of them made me want to go back often .Might be worth staring a new thread!

Would you recommend Piccolo Grande? This is the one pop-up through my internet search
BOTTEGA, REGALO and ROMANTICO are the best.
I don't particulary recommend Piccolo Grande you mentioned.
Thank you very much
